[brouk] v.,adj. -pt . i break /-adj . gj.fol. i shkundur; fishek; tingall; pa para; to be stone (dead) broke ; to be broke to the wide jam pa një grosh në xhep; jam kalli (fishek); jamë kripë (trokë, i shkundur); to go broke falimentoj; shkundem nga paratë; to go for broke nxjer dhjamë nga pleshti; stony / flat broke pa një dysh në xhep, trokë.
(TROKË f. sh. 1. Truall, dhe; shesh i vogël e i zhveshur, zakonisht me dhe të ngjeshur. U ul në trokë. Fshiu trokën. 2. përd. mb. Shumë i thatë, i terur; fare pa lagështirë. U bë kopshti trokë. Rrobat u thanë, u bënë trokë. 3. përd. mb. fig. I zhveshur, fare i zbrazët, pa asnjë gjë brenda (pa ushqime, pa orendi etj.). E kishte shtëpinë trokë. 4. përd. mb. I fëlliqur, keq me pluhur a me baltë. Shkundi, se je bërë trokë! Ishin bërë fëmijët trokë. 5. përd. mb. I grisur, zhele-zhele, copë-copë. Copë e trokë. Trokë se trokë ishim.
